Senior Linux System Administrator / DevOps (Office in Kiev)
OpsWorks Co. is a Ukrainian-based professional DevOps and system administration company delivering complex IT engineering solutions and remote support services. We are looking to expand our team with an experienced Senior Linux System administrator / DevOps Engineer who will help us to ensure that we meet our customers’ demands of service delivery and QoS. The position implies working with the latest technology stack and constant growth within the role. We will work together to improve clients infrastructure development, configuration management, continuous integration and delivery processes to guarantee reliability, availability and high performance of the underlying environments. Your Qualifications/Skills:
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT Operations, Systems Engineering or SRE;
  • Outstanding knowledge of *nix systems;
  • Deep understanding of virtualization concepts (at least 2 of these: KVM, Xen, OpenVZ, ESXi,);
  • Solid LAMP-stack experience with HA and HighLoad systems implementation;
  • Database administration skills (at least 1 of these: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB);
  • Strong scripting skills (at least 2 of the following: Python, Bash, Ruby);
  • Experience working with common systems management tools (at least 1 of these: Ansible, Puppet, SaltStack, Chef);
  • Intermediate English level is a must, Ukrainian or Russian native;
  • Strong time management skills;
  • Deep interest in DevOps streaming.
Nice to have:
  • Containerization and orchestration experience (Docker/Rkt and ECS, K8s or similar)
  • Experience working with Cloud Platforms (at least 1 of the following: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud);
  • Understanding of microservices architecture concept;
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as a code paradigm.
You will be responsible for:
  • System administration and DevOps support of worldwide development teams;
  • Cloud architecture design and implementation;

  • Microservices application architecture refactoring;

Python Developer (PST Business Hours)
OpsWorks Co. is a Ukraine-based outsourcing/outstaffing IT company with headquarter in Kiev. We are looking for an experienced Scrapy/Python Developer (PST Business Hours) who can participate in a large, fast-growing American project (the end-to-end eCommerce solution combining analytics, content management and reporting all in one platform) and must be capable of working independently and collaboratively with other team members to deliver innovative solutions, understanding the business needs and architecting an appropriate solution. This is a full-time and long-term position. Your Qualifications/Skills:
  • At least 3 years of Python Scrapy/Scrapyd Development experience;
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) development (Python preferred);
  • Proficient in Web Development;
  • Experience with databases with the ability to work with RDBMS like Postgres, MySQL and ability to write SQL;
  • Demonstrated experience in improving application performance by optimizing the Search, Data ingestion, and other processes;
  • At least Intermediate conversational English level is a must, Ukrainian or Russian native;
  • Strong time management skills;

  • At least 4 years of experience in PHP development;
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and web development;
  • Strong experience in JavaScript (jQuery) and React framework;
  • Profound knowledge of HTML5, CSS3;
  • Experience with databases with the ability to work with RDBMS like Postgres, MySQL and use complex SQL syntax;

Project Manager (Remote)

We are looking to expand our team with a Project Manager who will help us supervise and manage OpsWorks tech team over multiple projects. This is a full-time and a long-term position. Project Manager will work with customers from all over the world and collaborate with the team to meet clients’ expectations and track their satisfaction. You will be responsible for:
  • Leading and mentoring DevOps and system administration teams;
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships;
  • Project planning, execution, tracking,  and status reporting;
  • Facilitating and encouraging team cohesiveness, agility, and efficiency;
  • Juggling different work activities and shifting priorities;
  • Ensuring all projects are delivered on time and of high quality.
Your Qualifications/Skills:
  • At least 2 years of project management experience;
  • General knowledge of DevOps and system administration;
  • Good understanding of Agile development principles and proven ability to lead teams in an Agile environment;
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills;
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to details and multi-tasking;

We are looking for a qualified Content Manager to join our Opsworks Inc. team. You will be responsible for creating, editing, improving, and managing the content to achieve our company business goals. As a Content Manager, you should perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented. You should be as well an expert in content optimization based on SEO requirements, Marketing strategy guidelines, and possess the experience in the anchor texts, links management. Ultimately, you have to oversee all content initiatives to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency, and positive customer experience. Your responsibilities:
  • Develop together with the support of the Marketing & Sales functions content strategy aligned with Opsworks Inc. business goals;
  • Collaborate with the marketing manager and designers to plan and develop site content, style, and layout;
  • Edit, proofread and improve tech writers’ content;
  • Ensure brand consistency of created content;
  • Optimize content according to SEO requirements;
  • Use internal analytics to analyze website traffic and users engagement metrics;
  • Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic;
  • Develop an editorial calendar;
  • Ensure compliance with the law (e.g., copyright and data protection);
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments and generate new ideas to draw the audience’s attention.
Your Qualifications/Skills:
  • Proven work experience as a Content Manager;
