Junior DevOps Engineer (Remote, EET Business Hours)

OpsWorks Co. is a Ukraine-based professional DevOps and system administration company delivering complex IT engineering solutions and remote support services. We are looking to expand our team with a Junior DevOps Engineer who will help us to ensure that we meet our customers’ demands of service delivery and QoS. This is a full-time and a long-term position. The position implies working with the latest technology stack and constant growth within the role. We will work together to improve clients infrastructure development, configuration management, continuous integration and delivery processes to guarantee reliability, availability and high performance of the underlying environments.

Your responsibilities:

  • DevOps support of worldwide development teams;
  • Setup, manage and monitor servers, clusters, and cloud deployments;
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts;
  • Troubleshoot technical issues;
  • Assist Senior DevOps with cloud architecting and CI/CD implementation.

Your Qualifications/Skills:

  • At least 3 years of working experience in related field;
  • Strong *nix skills;
  • Networking fundamentals (switching, routing, load balancing);
  • Scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python);
  • Strong skills in LAMP stack;
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS);
  • Good DB knowledge (administration, replication, clusterization);
  • Intermediate English level is a must;
  • Ukrainian or Russian native is a must.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Docker;
  • Configuration management tools skills (Chef, Ansible);
  • Load balancing, clustering, HA infrastructure experience;
  • CI/CD concept understanding;
  • Development teams support experience;

Senior Linux System Administrator / DevOps (Office in Kiev)

Your Qualifications/Skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience in IT Operations, Systems Engineering or SRE;
  • Outstanding knowledge of *nix systems;
  • Deep understanding of virtualization concepts (at least 2 of these: KVM, Xen, OpenVZ, ESXi,);
  • Solid LAMP-stack experience with HA and HighLoad systems implementation;
  • Database administration skills (at least 1 of these: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB);
  • Strong scripting skills (at least 2 of the following: Python, Bash, Ruby);
  • Experience working with common systems management tools (at least 1 of these: Ansible, Puppet, SaltStack, Chef);

We are looking for an experienced Scrapy/Python Developer (PST Business Hours) who can participate in a large, fast-growing American project (the end-to-end eCommerce solution combining analytics, content management and reporting all in one platform) and must be capable of working independently and collaboratively with other team members to deliver innovative solutions, understanding the business needs and architecting an appropriate solution. This is a full-time and long-term position.

Your Qualifications/Skills:

  • At least 3 years of Python Scrapy/Scrapyd Development experience;
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) development (Python preferred);
  • Proficient in Web Development;
  • Experience with databases with the ability to work with RDBMS like Postgres, MySQL and ability to write SQL;
  • Demonstrated experience in improving application performance by optimizing the Search, Data ingestion, and other processes;
